Advisory Committees

ADVISORY COMMITTEES

The advisory committees serve as a valuable resource to the Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners. In their role, advisory committees provide guidance on administrative rule making and regulation of their respective profession. Advisory committee members are appointed by the Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners to three-year terms.

Advanced Life Support Advisory Committee

Committee charge: Assist the South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners by:

  • In the regulation of advanced life support
  • Making recommendations to the Board regarding rules promulgated pursuant to 36-10B
