6/15/2021 5:25:00 PM : The SDBMOE requires primary verification directly from the source (not a public website) to make application for any type of licensure in South Dakota. This meets the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) standard -surveys are unnecessary.
9/9/2021 12:00:00 PM : License renewals are made available through the licensee's online account 90 days prior to the expiration of the license. Any one assisting with the online renewal application, should be logging into their own online account as an authorized agent. The licensee will need to request the authorized agent be added in writing to sdbmoe@state.sd.us
6/16/2021 12:00:00 PM : Board to Board verifications can be requested by completing the online form. This form will also process the $30 fee at the time of request eliminating the requirement to call the Board office to pay the fee via phone. The new form is located on our website under Forms: sdbmoe.gov/forms/boardtoboard.aspx
